journey I've longed to take for several years. I'm sure I'll come up with a jazzier title, but for now it is my Journey with Jesus. Over the next few months I'm going to visit numerous churches and places of worship to see how various Christian traditions practice the faith. While planning to stay grounded in my own faith tradition and participating in the worship services at the church I attend locally, I hope to visit other churches periodically. Some will be located in the city in which I live; others will require me to travel. I hope to cross various denominational, social, and racial barriers in this journey. I plan to study the basic doctrinal positions of the churches prior to my visit, hoping this will provide a clearer understanding of worship practices or teaching that differ from my own faith tradition. However, I hope to find the things we share in common. Periodically I'll post an update so those interested can follow along with me.
And, please feel comfortable suggesting churches you think I might like to visit.

Sounds pretty neat... You could make this a book.
Brother,
Let me recommend a couple of great churches for your "adventure":
The Moody Church, Chicago (You can stay at my place)
Denver First Church of The Nazarene, (Englewood, Colorado). I know the senior pastor there very well. They will be very good to you.
Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City...
Don't forget Hot Dog church in San Francisco!! It's a cultural experience for sure. I went on Mother's Day about 3 years ago. :)
so Louis, when are you coming to Chicago?
The Moody Church really wants to meet you!
